A humble and solitary robot is stuck in a repetitive life, turning wheels and cogs all day to produce his only means of survival - until he finds a way to feed his heart instead.
Constructed from cardboard sets, old computer machine parts, and metal wire, each piece of Fabrica researcher Daniel Ferreira's short film Los Rosales, was individually moved to create a stop-motion animation of over 21000 frames. Dedication, endurance and sleepless nights were needed to get the job done. But the collaborative process with other Fabrica creatives, made the realisation of this film a typical case of "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts".
